SF*IRGO supports national and international conferences, workshops and schools on Ostracoda to promote and disseminate research results in biology and geology.
In detail,
- The International Symposium on Ostracoda (ISO) is held every four years and organised by members of the International Research Group on Ostracoda (IRGO).
- The European Ostracodologists’ Meeting (EOM) is held every four years and hosted by a working group in Europe.
- The International German Ostracodologists’ Meeting (IGOM) is an annual meeting that is organised by colleagues within German-speaking countries.
- The European School on Ostracoda (ESO) is a workshop to provide an overview of the taxonomy, (palaeo)ecology, biodiversity, geological history and applied biostratigraphy of ostracods. Currently organised by Peter Frenzel, Renate Matzke-Karasz,and Lea Rausch.
